Synopsis of Incident
On Wednesday 1/2/19 at 0318 hrs., Cathedral City Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Bankside Dr./ Tahquitz Rd. regarding an armed robbery. Officers arrived and started investigating the reported incident by searching for the described suspects, however they were not located.
The preliminary investigation determined the victim(s) of the robbery were in the area sitting in their vehicle when they were approached by the described suspects. The suspects demanded they give them their belongings. The suspects then fled on foot from the area in an undetermined direction, as the victims drove away and notified the police.
The robbery is still under investigation and no other information is available.
