Shooting Investigation / #2004C-0910
On April 4, 2020, at approx. 1945 hours, Cathedral City Police Department (CCPD) officers were dispatched to the area of Avenida Juarez and McCallum Way regarding multiple gunshots heard in the area. A short period of time later, officers were dispatched to a second call in the area – a traffic collision involving a vehicle that ran off of the roadway and collided with a tree in the area of McCallum Way and Avenida Alvera. At the traffic collision scene, officers discovered a male inside of the vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

On November 25, 2019, at about 12:07AM, Cathedral City Police Dispatch received a call of a single vehicle traffic collision at Dinah Shore, East of Cathedral Canyon. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle had collided into a cement structure on the center median.

On Nov 1, 2019 at approximately 0552 hrs., Cathedral City Police (CCPD) and the Cathedral City Fire Dept. responded to the area of 30th / Landau for a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. Officers discovered a 65-year old male suffering from injuries. The male pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk when he was struck by a vehicle that left the roadway. The driver of the vehicle returned to the roadway and drove away without stopping. The male pedestrian suffered major injuries to his lower legs and was treated at the scene by Cathedral City Fire Paramedics and transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
